DARK ARTS 101.x : turning a DVD+R/+RW burner to a multi-burner drive

I have been unable to find information on how to flash CD burners.

I tried cdrinfo.com over a year ago, but couldn't find the procedure.

Plus,how would you know if your burner can be flashed? Are all burners flashable after a certain date?

Thanks, I will check it out. I have some older burners which I would like to try flashing. And if it doesn't work, no big deal.

Good info. I'm getting a DVD burner when the next gen hits the market. Prices dropping nicely and tech getting better...
I want to be able to make good copies of all my movies. :)
