What is your point? That CD came up on auction this morning at 11:08 just like the website said it would and is is now sold out. I don't want to seem rude but the list of upcoming trade-ins are just what we've been asking for and now we can see prizes coming and we're still not happy. I'm excited about a couple of them and hope I'm available at he right time to get them.

I think Spike just means that even though it is sold out, there is a link that seems to allow you to "buy" the prize. It's on all of the prizes that are sold out, and it's a bit confusing 'cuz it makes it seem like you can still purchase the prizes. I'm glad that they have a bunch of cool prizes up!

Just trying to figure some method to this madness. Heck I'd still listen to KGB whether they had the Blue Chip program or not. Classic Rock, baby!

All I know is that a professional website should be, uh, professional. Just being Type A, anal! Especially since I work in IT!

I just think Blue Chip can help their own cause by making sure their website is user-friendly & works! Come on, green text on a blue background? To have to highlight the page just to read the text is

Just my 2 cents & "That's all I have to say about that."

Heck, Johnny Cash is more classic rock than any other of the Clear Channel stations. I'd love to see them try to post Johnny on 93.3, 105.3, etc.

I often have the same problem.

I think it has to do with how they have constructed the page. They have it broken up into many separate frames and have it set up so that they fill your screen in a specific order...then if one frame is especially heavy on graphics it holds up the others.

Do you usually just leave it on that page & eventually it fills the page? If that's the case, then I suppose I could just walk away & wait for the home page to come up completely. It's frustatring because the part that allows access to the Blue Chip page won't come up...hmmm. Thanks for your input....I don't get it,now I can access the whole page...hmmm

I'll try to head over to IronHorse since it is only a hop, skip, & a jump away from my 'hood. Besides, I've been wanting to research some new & certified used cars in that area. Anyone recommend anything, especially for expectant parents?!?!
I don't think an Ironhorse would be good, unless it had a baby buggy attachment! :winkie: But I'll gladly accept the hog at the end of the contest.

If Sixpac's Honda doesn't workout, CHECKOUT Mid to late 1990s Volvos, they are good reliable safe cars, they may be a bit pricey, look for one with fair to lower mileage. Good point...

now I'm wondering if it's even worth listening during Dec since all those points go away soon anyway...if you think a prize is worth waiting for, maybe you'll need more points, but otherwise, why bother.

Instead I'd rather either see the points never expire or nly expire 12 months after you got them (so Dec 2004 points expire Dec 1 2005, Jan 2005 points are good through Dec 31, 2005, and Feb 2005 points are good through Jan 31, 2006, etc.) Otherwise I have no incentive to collect points for their program in Dec, and if all they give away are cr*p prizes in Dec, why even collect them the rest of the year?

Yes...and they can be found online for free as well. Just do a word search and you'll find dozens of free sites. Also, if you are an LAtimes.com subscriber (free), they have 30 days worth of these puzzles daily as well. There are some sites that I will print out the game grid, so I can play while I am traveling, on the road, etc, etc.
