:agree: I'll second that. They should do something like First Fridays or Pay Day PayLoad. Dump a bunch of movie passes, whatever, en masse on a monthly or bi-weekly basis. Just a suggestion Clear Channel Marketing!

The only thing I ever got from them was a ticket, and while I was there I was lucky enough to get a movie pass they were ready to throw away because the movie was that night.

I am resolving to stop wasting time on useless rewards programs that require a lot of effort and don't give me much (if anything) in exchange for being loyal (or coming here to get codes!) Clear Channel to launch music video-on-demand

Clear Channel Communications, the top U.S. radio conglomerate, said Friday that it planned to begin testing a free, on-demand music-video service next Tuesday as part of a strategy to bolster its Internet presence.

Between 2,000 to 3,000 music videos from top artists at Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group will be featured on some of its radio station Web sites.

A third music label is likely to join, though a deal has not been finalized, said Evan Harrison, executive vice president of Clear Channel's radio division.

The free service will be advertising supported, the company said.

The launch is part of a restructuring of Clear Channel's Internet properties across the nation. Last year, the radio company began offering site viewers originally produced interviews and shows with musicians including Kanye West, John Legend and Reba McEntire.

Programmers have began offering more videos on-demand over the Internet and on portable media devices as consumers push to have more control over what and when they watch.

Clear Channel also started offering downloadable audio files of radio shows, or podcasts. About 6.5 million of its podcasts were downloaded during the last six months of 2005.

I think the old system was difficult to use for the station personnel, especially every once in awhile when they had to train a new person on how to use it....as evidenced by the problems they had at each new month, at time change time, etc.

I think they see this new software package as greatly improved for them so they can manage the program better. Hence, what is better for them is then also better for us.

It's really not that hard. If he is a new member, he gets 1000 points right off the bat. I have 3500, so he would have 4500. If he refers 1 or 2 people, he gets extra points for that.

Had I thought about that, I would have started a new account to get that extra 1000 points!:woo: :woo:
