Too bad I didn't read that when I just got my Zoo tickets! That stinks! Wonder why they are only good for a short period of time??? :pfft: Really...what's up with that? I thought in CA, things didn't expire? Or is that just supermarket coupons? Who here knows the rules?
I bought them quickly since the last time I tried for something, it was gone in a millisecond and didn't want to be disappointed again. How did that work against me? :shifty:

It is my understanding that gift cards (which have a substantial cash value) don't expire in CA. Other things, like coupons can have an expiration date.
The short expiration dates on Zoo and Wild Animal Park tickets from radio and TV stations is very common here. I've won many that expire in just a few months. I think that's how they get them for such a low (or no?) cost.

This reiterates the problem we've described before---they don't give any information until the prizes are up for sale, at which point you don't have time to read the details because of the competition.
Why can't they give us a link in the description so we can read about it? I think it would even be good for their advertisers!

Would you believe that KGB still hasn't given me info on how to get the tickets that I won and they expire in about 10 days???? I got an initial email when I won them saying someone would contact me about how to get them but still no info so I emailed them today. :angry: If they're going to give away things that are not valid for a long time, they should at least act a little faster than this.

I've never known any of the clear channel stations to mail a prize...Yeah-I wouldn't wait for a response to your email either...Sometimes that "old fashioned" thing they call a phone is still best!!! Have fun at the zoo-those pandas are awesome to see!!!

I had the same problem. I called her (check her name on your email) and she called me back. She has been having some email issues.

I Agree.
I must say that I've now been to a few of their remote events, like last weekend's March Madness Basketball Toss, and the staff is the nicest they can be. Well organized, friendly, outgoing, funny...and they even brought the donuts. :)

It is a small thing in the scheme of things, and I have to agree with "Itsme", the staff are very nice. I met a few of them when I got my spot in the DSC Open after waiting in line at 4 am. See ya at the Links.
