100.7 and KFMB-AM are the same company. I know they say on their web site you need to pick everything up.

I can tell you is that 2 weeks ago I won on KFMB-AM a package of 4 tix, plus a $50 gift Certificate to a restaurant from an online contest. The guy called me and at the time I was in Washington DC on a trip (had my phones forwarded). I told him where I was and without hesitation he told me he'd mail the items to me at my home. I didn't even have to ask...two days later I was home and there the envelope was.

I guess my only advice is...it never hurts to ask...especially if you do it politely.

Given the extreme lag to refresh so that the "redeem" button would even show just before the 9:50 minute came up, & the fact that this was over a T1 connection, I suspect that the only way you can 'beat the crush' is if you're standing at the terminal in the radio station's lobby (ie, on their own network) so that the response time is given priority. Heck, I even came to work early so that I'd have a faster connection than I can get at home! I was seriously thinking I'd be kickin' back w/ Pinky & Brain this weekend!... (sigh) :disa:

I wish they'd put the good prizes in the "auctions" & leave the dumb sports tix to the "store." At least that way there'd be some chance of getting something you wanted if you wait long enough & build up the points!

We go to Vegas a few times a year, usually for free on a trip win. Normally, that's 2-3 days, which we find not long enough.

This past New Year's we went for a week by exchanging our timeshare for the new Marriott timeshare right on the strip, and it was great because we had our own car. We got to re-visit Hoover Dam, as well as a lot of the out of the way places we never seemed to get to in the past.

I'd probably agree that 5 days is a long time if you only spend it on the strip.

I think they need to back to when the prize times were NOT announced...It was all pure luck of the draw...I haven't won much since they started giving out the times the prizes are going up...Too many people ready to "pounce" all at once...:ugh: Thought the program worked better when it was "chance"...You just happened to be on their site at the right time...That way people are more apt to be on their website throughout the day-not just at specified times...And yes, I'm a big fan of the phone in prizes...To me it's about listening,loyalty & luck...Just my opinion...:cheers:

I think they need to back to when the prize times were NOT announced...It was all pure luck of the draw...I haven't won much since they started giving out the times the prizes are going up...Too many people ready to "pounce" all at once...:ugh: Thought the program worked better when it was "chance"...You just happened to be on their site at the right time...That way people are more apt to be on their website throughout the day-not just at specified times...And yes, I'm a big fan of the phone in prizes...To me it's about listening,loyalty & luck...Just my opinion...:cheers:

I hate the call-in thing, but if they made the online radio match the airwave radio then I'd like to see them remove the times then announce when a prize goes up on the website. :) "Blue Chip members can go up on the website NOW to purchase an XBox360" or whatever.
