Being the computer geek that I am, I knew that number looked familiar...I dropped it into my Widnows caclulator, converted to hex and got 7FFFFFFF.
That tells me that soemone screwed up and simply filled a 4-byte signed field with all binary ones. Add 1 to that and it'll roll over to zero...a bargain for an iPod!
