Call the station and ask for promotions. They're usually really good about answering the phone. Have never won an auction, however, when I win one of the other prizes, they usually send an e-mail the same day.

Has anyone noticed that 101kgb's auctions run direct, ie: whatever the "max" you bid, becomes the new high bid? Also, it seems that all points are immediately set in escrow, so you can't bid on multiple auctions w/ different end dates?

I have seen the same thing, and I think it should work like a regular auction where the max bid I place is just that, my max. The actual bid should be whatever is required to get to the top, up to my max, akin to EBay. This way everyone sees what you have bid as a max (which is what it ends up costing if you win) and can easily outbid you. I don't like it too much. :(

Related to that...I bid on one last week. After a few days tried to up my bid and it would not let me. I couldn't bid higher since a large amount of my points were frozen. This means basically waiting till the last minute to use all the points I have to bid. Seems crazy to me.

I don't think you're entering a "drawing" to win.
You're supposed to enter when they play that sound bite on the radio. Since I listen on the computer, I'm always too late to enter soI don't know if they tell you you've won or lost when you log in there at the right time.

I've been trying to get a hold of someone at KGB to verify exactly how this contest works. On Tuesday when I heard the promo on the radio I entered "playoffs" in the search/keyword line and the box that displays the audio sample came up with now an additional link to enter your name and password. Once I entered that info it said, "You're now entered to win Charger Playoff Tickets. Please verify current contact info so we can call you if you win." Is my one entry good for the whole week or only for that day? I have been unsuccessful with KGB to find out.

You need to enter the word into the Search field. You'll be given a code to enter into the proper field. It's a hassle, probably aimed to get half of us to quit bothering!

did u figure out kgb?
it took me a bit, so just in case.
1st u need to have the word, then put it in top left search box of kgb page (any) the one that says keyword in it- then put it in and enter and it will direct u to a page that says this is ur unique 5-6 digit code, copy/write that down, then go to blue chip page and click on the timed word ( 10/1/5:00) and enter the numerical code u were given, then u will get credited.
i hope this helps those who need it.

I don't recall seeing the specific wording that is now very visible on the revamped website. There was a lot of speculation on this forum, but nothing I saw that was 'official' from the station.
