can someone please explain the Workday Payday Song and how it works.

Of course, we hear that from politicians too..."No new taxes", "I didn't have sex with that woman", etc.

If you look at the prize page, you'll see that there's not much selection, and there really hasn't been for several months.

I have been noticing the drop in quality of the program as well. I mean, casinos are fine, but all they have on the auction page is chances to be in a slot tournament? ick. sorry, that's just not my idea of fun.

I tried to press them on the subject, but they kept coming back to that rationale. I didn't believe it then, nor do I now.

I believe the quality of the prizes, and the number is largely dependent on the ability of the sales staff to get good prizes from sponsors. I think they have lost some of their staff over the past year and that is the reason their quality has dropped.

Now that Mary has left, it futher reinforces my belief. I think that she became unhappy at the way the promotions department was going. That's my personal opinion, no evidence of any facts to back it up though.

It makes you wonder if all these programs are going away.

KYXY now sux, KGB and Rock105 have never really been good (only adequate) and Fox hasn't been the same in two years.
Jack seems to have gotten better, but it's really tough to get prizes there.

Maybe it's time to get a better job and buy my own stuff? LOL!

Mary told me that Keeko is the new girl in charge of the program and they're working on new ways to make the program more fair for all, like better ways for people with fewer points to win auctions...they think it will be ready "soon".

I hope so, I have some birthdays coming up :)

I kinda get the feeling, the current folks don't know how to run a rewards program AND they can't run a website well. It's been a long time since the program was...well, inspiring. How long has it been since Mary left? Months now, right? The trade ins are kind of a joke.

If they are using this as a way to build loyalty, first they will have to figure a way to win back those they have lost.

Now, I clicked on the special offer and got 10K points even though it said that I had to drop off my paperwork. Will they take the points away? Not that there's very many prizes out there right now worth redemption.

I just checked this and it says "Print one and get 10,000 points" so it sounds like they meant to give us the points when we print, but do we get another 10,000 when we participate?

I picked up something from KYXY last week and asked about the points program and if it was being discontinued. The lady at the desk said no, not discontinued just revamped. Mary doesn't work there anymore (went to ClearChannel) and they have another lady doing promotions. She said they will be having more contests and trade-ins but no more auctions. I blew alot of points on sweepstakes entries last week thinking I was going to bale. I also bought the pen set and it was a waste of 35,000 points as it is totally empty, no writing elements inside the pen!!! WTF??? I complained but have gotten no response as of yet.

Hey Young, don't throw that Cross ION Pen out!
I used to sell Cross Pens and the cartridges are never installed in the pen, They are either hidden under the presentation facade, or in the case of the Ion pen, they are attached to the bottom side of the plastic case!
There are two cartridges under there, One for the pen and the other for the Highlighter! :wavey2:

My opinion, for what's it's worth...

KyXy had the best managed program of all the stations. They then lost a person in the department (while Mary was still there). They then saw how labor intensive all their promotion efforts were. They would not hire a replacement for this person so the load got even worse on those that were left. Then Mary left for Clear Channel and they were really in a bind. So, they have cut back the program, gone to some canned things that are nationwide, only have a few local things, and are trying to manage.

We need to tell them, polotely, that we don't like the direction they have taken...want more, etc. The more people who send them emails, or stop to talk to them at remote broadcasts, the better.

Based on the midnight 11/05 release of the Riverdance tickets early this morning, which went up one minute after 11:59pm on 11/05 (and were sold out by 12:01am 11/06), I would say start refreshing the page at 11:59pm on 11/12 (Sunday night) for that midnight 11/12 prize.
