I wish they would have a survey to see how we "the LOYAL listeners" feel about their new website - it's horribly slow and utterly ridiculous. God forbid that your mouse go over one of the banner ads - I've had several interruptions because they automatically take you to their ad website and almost all of it is pure spam!!! It's incredibly frustrating....:thud:

All these other stations need to follow ClearChannel's program. They have the best IMO. The rewards I've redeemed from ClearChannel have exceeded $1000 for each of the last two years alone. Not bad for listening.
KFMB stations would be second.
The Couch Potato, KYXY, & Sophie programs just suck. In four years, I got a coffee cup from Fox, (Though, like an ass, I'll probably keep logging points. :disa:)
I would probably still listen to these stations even without their rewards programs, but if you're going to have one that people will spend time on, then make it worthwhile.
Whew, glad I got that off of my chest. ;) :D

I decided to stay away from ClearChannel because they were such a pain to use and to get there after work.
Now KXYX has become just as difficult (if not more) to use so I guess I'll give this up.
Couch Potato is very easy to use compared to anything else, but prizes are difficult to come by.
Jack/KFMB is pretty easy to accumulate points by almost impossible to get anything beside the stuff that nobody wants.
All in all, I'd say they all suck whereas 3 years ago, I think even the worst was easier to use than just about anything now.

I think they all have their issues due to the sheer number of members. But of all, CC is the one that has prizes that pretty much fit the tastes of most, and they close them through auctions, (which I like the most), daily. In other words, prizes are available daily, including weekends, even if it is only a $25 gift cert.
But you are right, they are all getting harder to use, even CC, though CC is easier than KYXY.

voice our opinion via phone, email, letters and the like, they will "tone down" the website, that is unless they are that HARD UP for sponsorship. I've been a part of their program since the inception and have accumulated wayyyy tooooo many points to give it up, however, I would not mind finding a good auction and bidding all of my points, just to be done with them. Their prizes are unexciting and not worth the points that they go for.
Bummer too as it use to be fun and the prizes were great...:dead:

Yeah their new website has so much crap in and on it that it takes forever to load a page. You better have a fast processor and LOTS of memory to load everything. And actually since they never seem to have anything worth using points for it may be about time to drop the KYXY points program and maybe even drop KYXY. Anyone tried the new Walrus? 105.7 I think it is. Mason in the Morning from the old KBEST or one of the other good ol' stations is there now. Time to make the change??? And we never did near what happened to John Q Lawrence or Kris Toledo... just disappeared one day never to be heard from again. And their worthless little news int he morning... why bother if all they are saying is go check their bloated website that doesn't even report the stories they alluded to anyway. <grumble><grumble> ha ha ha
