say for instance.. a code is posted that is for visiting an event or something (a code that isnt so easy to get)..
it will defintely raise an eyebrow or two when you enter the code and then post a thanks or something about it at the same time. Just an example..

If you use a username that is similiar to one you use with program.
If you post a code, like was said, that is an event code and you had to sign up.
If you post a code at a certain hour or late and then enter it with the program.
If you mirror accounts, have more than one account and post right after another.
If you do enter a poison code. That is why saw/heard it and confirmation by those you trust.

I am sure there are other ways. Plus they regularly monitor these sites.

Actually, I didn't get back into the points program, hence I don't regularly post on this particular thread. But, I did get back onto another points program (not Kyxy, and I won't name which one to stay as anonymous as possible) by just signing up again and starting from scratch. So far, so good. So, I am a member of a few other points-based programs in SD, but I probably am not as hard core as some of the members on this forum. I do try to post when I do see something or try to confirm if there already hasn't been 5 or so other confirmations for the same word. But sometimes I will hear words in my car and don't have access to a computer so won't be able to enter it soon (or at all if the code is time-sensitive).

I know chocolate was a good post because I saw it on Oprah myself. I'm just saying it was weird that after Tinkerbell65 confirmed and I thanked her for the confirmation that I lost all my points.
