mobo in dell 4500?

my brother's dell recently died and he's thinking its his motherboard. does anyone know what form of motherboard is in a dell 4500 and if its possible to just go get another motherboard to put in there in its place or does it have to be a dell motherboard? if it has to be a dell motherboard, anyone know of anywhere he can get one for cheap? like either through dell or somewhere else?

Ouch. He could use another motherboard but I don't think it will fit in the Dell case.
