Why West Virginia? I can think of a couple of other states that would have fit better, although I won't mention them out of respect for the G|A members there ;)

here in the south at least WV has a reputation for that sort of thing. whenever i meet someone from WV, I immediatly ask if they are their own grandmother.

Figure this one out.

My step-grandfather is also my great-uncle-in-law.
You could also say that my great-grandfather is also my grand-uncle-in-law.

And I'm not from West Virginia, or anywhere in the south either!
