Should I Buy Dual Channel In Pair

I am planning to buy more memory from my Dell dimension 8300 which supports dual channel pc3200. Now I know I have to buy 2 modules to utilize the dual channel. Right now on kingston.com, I am getting a single module of 256 MB for 29.99 AR and thus it will cost me 60 AR for 2 X 256 MB and a matched pair is available for 79.99 AR.
My question is it worth to spend 20 more dollars to get a matched pair? Do you get amazing performace gain or just buying 2 seperate modules from same company work fime too?

As long as its the same ram, it should be just fine. Matched pairs is mostly marketing IMO.

Thanks for the advise. Atcually i am going to buy it at the same time. its just the matched pair is $20 more then buying 2 modules seperately.
i was just confused about the matching part. what exactly does it mean?

I said as long as its the same ram it should work. He said he was going to buy 2 sticks of the same stuff at the same time not 6 months later. They should run fine in dual mode.
