I may have just assumed they may have been a friend, it could be someone who is with a friend, maybe even a co-worker. Geez maybe even a cop...

I love people like that. I just like to throw them out of their comfort zone. The majority of peoople who act that way really just act taht way becaues they think it's proper. Give them some time and they'll laugh at non-PC jokes. I really hate when I say something related to perhaps another race or group of people and they say stuff like "OMG That's so bad" but I really haven't said anything bad. It's like an instinct to these people to go PC whenever any race/minority related issue pops up.

I have a friend who went to college when he was 30. I couldn't believe how PC he became during that time. After he graduated, he became normal again.

There must be something in the water at colleges and universities today.

There are. They are called tolerance, awareness and education.

College doesn't teach tolerance or awareness of other groups. In fact, I think it further seperatse minorities. Seperatism is a way of life at most colleges. The asians stick with the asians, the blacks keep together, whites stay white and the arabs go with the arabs. Sure there is some bleeding at the line but every group has his/her own club and they create cliques.

But when you consider the fact that a lot of kids didnt even have an arab or asian or an openly gay person its a different thing.

Actually, its much more prevelent than you think. I know I didn;t have any muslim students in my high school, and it isnt like I went to small school either. My graduating class was 714 and we only had like 5 asians and 0 muslims.
