Hmm hard to say. Everything is more open. The text is bigger and there's more white, everything is far left justified, the title bar is smaller. A different font, fewer colors (more contrasty) I'm not sure.

I just noticed it, but maybe it's an old feature and the new color scheme brought it to light.
