I benched my HDs tonight in Sandra and it reported that my 80GB Maxtors were running (although fast) with SMART=enabled. I rebooted to the BIOS, but couldn't find a toggle to turn off SMART mode, only acoustic mode.
Anyone know if SMART is actually on, and if it is, how to turn it off in the bios?
