Now that the official Napster is being killed, I hear that there are unofficial napster hosts and a program that lets you change your server. Contrast this, to Gnutella and the further fragmentation of the music sharing apps available.

What are the opinions about the different choices?
What are relevant links to get to these apps?

http://www.gnutella.com

Gnutella is a product made by the creators of winamp. I would suggest first thing you do with it once you're connected is look at the search grabber and see how to search for stuff.

Here you can find napigator, the program that lets you choose your nap server. If you have any ?'s, feel free to email me, [email protected]

I personally like cutemx, but ftp and irc are the best. Pluse they won't be able to "shutdown" irc or ftp's. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks for the napigator link, a friend mentioned it but I didnt know how to find.

Thanks also for the responses!

I am curious as to which product will become the most mainstream, get the most developer and user support.
