...geek style.

My temps have been getting up there lately and my system actually froze the other day while play UT2k4. :wow:
That may happen to a lot of people but never......

So last night I open my case and find all kinds of dust. I guess the remodeling/dust wasn't good for the system. There was a light grey carpet covering the top of my TT 900 cooler. Great little cooler considering it was getting almost no air flow! I started cleaning the cooler.. one thing leads to another and the case is apart. Fans and rhoebus pulled out and HD sitting on the desk.

Rhoebus rock btw! Turn up for gaming, etc., turn down for silence. Nexus rhoebus is cool cuz it goes from 0 to 12 volts, but no good for fans I dont want to accidently turn off(cpu). The new Vantec goes from 7 -12 volts and I can use it to control my cpu fan cooler. I'll set the nexus for lighted stuff and the vantec for the fans I want running continuously.

I guess I might as well replace the loud ass maxtor while im at it. The new seagate drive should be nice and quiet.

I noticed my lite on drives are loud. Pioneer has that slot loading DVD player that I want. Is that a quiet drive? $30 for some silence... If not, can anyone recommend a silent DVD drive?

Be carful where you blow all that dust and debris into...

Whats funny is that you could see the white dust on the outside of the top exhaust. So it basically got sucked straight thru.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone designed a case with a hepa air filtering system...
