Welp, I've been wondering about this for a while. Are you or were you ever deterred from having sex due to fear of contracting an STD?

After seeing some national and local statistics on *reported* cases alone, I don't ever want to be risky enough to sleep around like some of my buddies do. Even with a condom, you can still get HPV. I just don't know if this is me being super-paranoid, or if this makes anyone else really cautious. :shrug: Gotta love the things you think about at college :D

Nah. It is a big factor in my sexual decisions in my life. The combination of me not being the world's most trusting person and the desire to not have anything in my body rot off really gets in the way of a person's sex life.

I recently had a chlamydia scare. I got myself tested after being with a girl unprotected. Preliminary results showed positive but after the actual lab tests were done (2 weeks later) the results came in negative. She was really really hot but not no one is worth getting burned.

I havent had to think about these issues for a LONG time. But back in the day, the fear did keep me from going bare back a couple of times. Fortunately I never got myself into situations where that was an issue.

I do know a handful of people who werent so lucky.

thank god i dont have to worry about that crap anymore. I used to have a buddy whos nickname was drippy and his stories scared the hell out of me.
