The essential amino acids. From what I know, just eat a lot of chicken and brocolli.

yeah. ummm...this might be the wrong forum to get info on that. anyplace that has an "overclocking" category isn't likely to have many guys that can answer your bodybuilding q's. =)

well if you are working out, then you do want to consume protein in order to maximize the healing of the muscles. thats the best way to maximize the workout.

You need to eat good, lean foods. Some people think they can eat everyting and will even consume lots of fats to add size, but that is not the kind of size you want. A good protein suppliment can help. Whey protein offers the most complete protein among the suplements. Try to include many different kinds of protein to ensure you are getting complete aminos to build muscle. Beans (watch out for ones with lard added or other fats) combined with rice form a more complete protein than either individually. A peanut butter sandwich on wheat bread is also a good complete protein source, but again watch the fats. Chicken (skinless) and tuna fish are good, but can be boring after a while. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables (fresh and not overcooked to retain nutrients) and pleanty of water to keep the muscles from tiring as easily and to help keep the kidneys flushed from their increased pritein load. A reasonable amount of growth is about ten pounds a year- if you are training and eating right. That is less than a pound a month which doesn't sould like a lot, but after three years, that is 30 pounds of solid muscle. It will not go on linearly- you will shoot up for a while and then stagnate as your muscles adapt to their workload. It is suggested that to help avoid this you change your training around about every six weeks. This gives the body something new to adapt to. Having a training partner is also important to keep each other motivated and help push each other. Go more by what you see in the mirror to track gains than by using a scale. The biggest thing is to work hard and be patient- it will take time. Being consistant at it is the most important thing. Good luck! You can do it!

Good advice, some of that I didn't know. I am not trying to body build, just look and feel better. Over the past months I have lost about 16% body wieght. I wasnt even trying to lose weight to lose wieght, I only wiegh myself once a month max. They key is just having better eating habbits for your lifestyle. The only bad thing about losing wieght is that I had to buy new clothes, I dropped 6 inches in the waiste.

advice: EXERCISE ON A DAILY BASIS, force yourself to do somethine everyday no matter how hard you normal day was. For me, after I loss my 16% i started running at night. You just get this awsome high and over all good feeling.

Look_Ma is absolutely right. Eat good foods and do something, anything physicaly everyday. Being consistant about it is more important than how much- that will increase as you go along. Just remember, it took you many years to have the body you do, and it will take time for you to change it, but you can do that too if you really want.
