I'm looking for a new portable lappie (my toshiba desktop replacement is pissing the shlt outta me). I started looking at major manufactuer's 12.1" offerings, but they all seem to have 1024x768 resolution. That's way too low for me. Help? :P

thats pretty much it from what i've seen in the 12" offerings, might be a bit too hard to squeeze more pixels. BTW HA HA for telling you so that you would get sick of lugging the beast around :P j/m.

Yup. Too heavy, battery life sucks, runs freaking hot, but 1600x1200 rocks!

good luck dude. i don't know of any 12.1" that run higher than 1024x768.
i'd be tired of lugging your beast around too. heck, i'm tired of lugging around my dell 4100. :P
Only thing higher resolution is the 10.6" widescreen laptops.
