Hey anyone know what bbs or newsgroup or webpage that can answer web page related questions rather quickly and accurately?

I have a question on incompatibility b/t IE5-IE4 for the MAC and Netscape for the MAC. I have this code that works fine in Windows IE and netscape but doesn't in MAC. it contains style sheets and javascript.

Hey, I'm pretty good with HTML and CSS. What's your problem?

I have a problem that happens in MACs the code I have uses Javascript and CSS. I think it is the CSS part that is dieing. It works fine in IE5 and Netscape on PC and it works fine on IE4 for MACs but in IE 5 on MAcs the layer that was to sliding in and out will just stay resident on top of page thus pushing everything down on the page. It totally crashes Netscape for MACs

I took the code from a public website and modified it slightly. http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/slideinmenu4.htm that is the website that i took the code from. all i chanege was the width and movement of it. if someone wants i can post the script but it is long and not on the web so that page is the easiest to read right now.

Thanx

It's late and I won't be able to answer your question till at least saturday (that's the earliest I can get ahold of a mac). but did you see if the origional code was usable in mac netscape and mac ie5?

anyhow, could you post your script?

Thanx, I am actually in the process of fixing it. I noticed that orginal script (the page above) works in Mac IE 5 so I am going to play with that but it still crashes Netscape 4 for MAC giveing me i think a type 2 error (i don't know what that means) I have not tried it with the latest version of Netscape though because the MAC is not mine so I did not install it.
Actually spent half a day yesterday and going to spend another half of day today going b/t 3rd floor and 2nd to code and test code =P
