Solarcaine works wonders for the pain, but if you want it to heal go with the refigerated aloe.

OWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! That is all I can really say right now cause man am I burned. I was at endfest this sat, ya ya that ruled!! I will just say BT is my new god, but ya I was outside for almost the whole day and the sun was just melting my skin and now I am bright red. So I was wondering if anyone knew of anything that would make this burning pain go away. I know aloe and anything with vitamin E will help, but just wondering if anyone knew any other things. Thanks.

i read that you shouldn't put vaseline or lotion type stuff on it cuz it makes it take the burn longer to heal. plus it doesn't make it feel any cooler. you should get that blue or green aloe gel and keep it in the fridge and just put it on anytime you need it. keeping it in the fridge helps a lot cuz its really cool when you put it on. hope you feel better!!!

Cocoa butter lotion helps as well as aloe. I don't think medicating the burn makes it heal slower, I think it soothes and helps save as much skin as possible.

Take sunscreen next time! It's important!

How about getting some time in a hyperbaric chamer (don't know how to spell).

I have never tried it but someone was telling me that if you keep baby oil on it the skin wont dry out so you wont peal. You will still lose the skin but it will just come of like normal dead skin. If its true it would save those few days where you cant stop itching http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

when i was in a gasoline explosion, my right upper body was burned pretty badly. lost a lot of hair and couldn't feel anything for sometime. anyhow, i'd take that to be like a really bad sunburn. i got a bottle of synthetic vitamin e pills (cheaper) and put that over burned areas. most of it healed up perfect except the worst areas which i got tired of applying the vitamin e to.

Bathe with vinegar. It stings at first, but man, does it ever stop the burn. And when you get out of the bath, put cold aloe. That's the best solution.

ok this is weird but it works really... you get a potato and mash it up.. raw... and spread it over ur burns till the potato also gets warm (15min)... then wash with cold water and put aloe... works for me every time... and yes i have tried aloe alone and have not felt the same effect
