I know there's a way to edit the registry so that when you move the mouse over directories in the start menu - like "Programs" - the menu appears right away...instead of taking the half second or however long that is it takes by default.

Anybody know how?

does this require a reboot? because i didn't notice any difference in speed at all. even set for 5 ms - same old menu-snap speed. hmmm.

You probably already figured this out by now, but yes...that one requires a reboot.
