(That's his cat, not him!) :)

lol. i've heard that before. i'm starting to really like him. he's 6mo today. he's less chatty, doesn't laugh as much, and isn't sitting up, learning to crawl, etc. as early as austin. however, he's more cuddly, and is sweeter. i'm sure i'm just jaded because austin is so engaging and it's hard for a infant to compete with a 2yo. dunno.

Cheapie!! That cat is evil! Get it away!!

Oh, and nice brickwork by the way. I have a 5-brick high wall (one level buried) in the gray brick that I finished. I had to negotiate 2 different slope directions and 1" roots to get it level and look right. That can be a real pain since those bricks vary in size.

Your kid and cat are both cute :)

wow, how long did the bricking take? and did your wife use anything to bind the bricks together? That is a good job, very professional looking. WTG!!!

we did the bricking last fall. took two afternoons. we dug out half of the brick's height and put the first row in. the second row went quickly. we didn't use anything to stick them together. moving the dirt sucked. it about broke my back. we did that just before it started snowing. the dirt was all wet and i had to scoop up wheelbarrow loads of muck and dump it in the beds. she moved the dirt around this spring. tearing the two bushes out didn't take too much time. she smoothed out the dirt, planted the, ummmm, plants and spread the mulch over the last few weeks. we need to replace the garage and front doors, plant a couple of trees along the sidewalk, and clean the driveway and powerwash the house and it will look 10X better than it did before.
