Um because abstinence sucks? I don't know, I forgot it, Abstinence isn't birth control, it's birth not gonna F*ing happen. Like that german couple. :heh:

Of course it is-but there is nothing wrong with waiting-sometimes saying no takes more balls than getting laid. I applaud those youngsters who want to wait..like molecularfire. It's very honorable.

Right now, the patch.
But, I am starting to get headaches (that I am leaning toward calling migraines) which is not a good thing.
Been suggested that I try the vaginal ring. Same type of thing, use it for 3 weeks, remove for cycle week, then place a new one. Dunno.

I'm thinking of getting myself fixed. But being a bleeder, I'm a little worried about brusing in my happy place. I've had brusing there before, and because brusing on me can last a month and be caused by someone looking at me funny, I'm really on the fence about it.
But I gots me enough kids now.

I had heard there was a batch of the patch (rhyme not intended) that was defective. I think my cousin got one, because within three months of being on the patch, she got preggo. You might want to check with your doctor.

It's very honorable.honorable or bad decision making skills? The only 100% sure way to avoid skin cancer is to stay out of the sun. You have to multiply all the consequences by thier probability and sum them to find the best choice.
ie
Cost of sex asuming everyone is clean
Cost of getting pregnant = one million $
Chance= .001
Cost of sex on avg about 1K a year or $8 per act.
Totally worth it

It's not an issue of money as much as decency. No kid deserves to have his existence be an accident. I wouldn't wish this on my enemy's kid much less my own.

Yes, you are right. There was a bad batch that did come out earlier this year. I should be safe since they were pulled from the pharmacy hopefully before mine was filled :)

I mean, there's more than one kind of cost. I chose money because it was easier to multiply. You'll notice with skin cancer there isn't really an attributable cost. Yet we still all go out into the sun and it's worth it.
With that said, I was an accident and it doesn't really phase me. I'm not hurt or anything. Just kinda feel lucky in some sort of way.

how many kids do you think are actually "planned". even amongst married couples there are plenty of "accidents". i know my first and my last siblings were both "accidents". so what? they know, and didn't hafta go into therapy because of it. that's just life.

I personally don't care too much about the sun, but I'm big into food. I have a very bad diet and I'm pretty sure I will die a little earlier than I would otherwise because of it. I would rather die a little younger than live without cheesecake. You're right, it's a matter of preference. I have mine, and I've made my decision. We all have to make judgement calls based on the risk/benefits assessment and our own personal values. I didn't mean to sound judgemental... I'm sorry if it came out that way. :)

Bandwagon? First of all I was being sarcastic (mostly) and second of all, how is having sex being on a bandwagon? I don't get it, there isn't a logical connection there. Corsex. :P

You guys went from "what method of birth control everyone uses" to "sex is right, sex is wrong, it's a trend". What the hell happened, and besides, it's not a trend, we're all here so this this seems to be a permanent fashion, kinda like guys trying to look up girl's dresses.
Plus I think there should be a couple more options for the poll: either of the two other holes won't cause pregnancy.
I do have a question for the guys here who's girlfriends are on the pill, is it worth the mood swings?

i disagree. i think since the hormones are more stabilized, there are less mood swings.

Ok, but which side are you on? The side that has the mood swings, or the side that has to live with the person that has them?

Potent husband. I thought the pill screwed with the hormones, I've never heard of it stabilizing them. Doesn't it prevent pregnancy by throwing things so far out of wack that pregnancy just doesn't occur?

Totally depends on the person. My wife had crazy mood swings while on the pill... had to stop taking them. Some people aren't affected at all. I've even heard that it lowers the sex drive in some women... so you really have to try it out to see how it works.

I have not noticed Amy having any mood swings. If these are mood swings the pill is WELL worth it. God bless those hormones.

Yes you can get pregnant by having anal sex. When you withdrawl there is the chance that the semen can leak out and run down to the opening of the vagina and the little sperm can swim up and meet the egg.

there have been cases of women getting pregnant with just a little finger action too. because those boys can swim!
