Dealing with Mondays is a lot easier when you know you'll have an easy week . . . in general, I should have very little/no work this week, esp. given that my higher-up is out . . . but in any case,

Monday: Leave work early to go play Softball
Tuesday: Nada . . . easy day
Wednesday: Go to People Magazine's 30th Anniversary Party (highlight of the week). . . should be a blast . . . and I can go a bit nuts at it because . . .
Thursday: Taking the Day off

And then, of course, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday off for Memorial Day
