I got the call today from an old friend letting me know that an ex-girlfriend's mother passed away yesterday. She was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer almost exactly 2 years ago. (Around the time of this thread (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46421) It's a sad story, that couldn't have happened to a nicer woman; She never smoked a day in her life and came down with lung cancer.
She got to live 2 additional years in underexaggerated pain and succumbed this week when it spread to her brain. I'm was sad to hear when she didn't recognize her young grandchildren when she saw them this weekend.
I'd like to ask that anyone willing say a short prayer in whatever religion for someone who will be missed by many.
