It seems like lately there has been more personal attacks on this board than I'm used to. People calling other's morons, insulting other's positions on issues, etc.

Maybe we just need to stick to the facts...

Ok that was stupid but I don't notice anything like that.

I am new to the board and I have not noticed anything that bad. I think most people have a good sense of humor about the stuff that is said.

I haven't noticed anything bad lately. Then again, I don't step into the Political Forum!

About a month or two ago, a lot of people left... that seemed like a much worse time.

i'm sure if i stepped into the political forum, i'm bound to see more personal attacks. i can't stand the same rhetoric made by some of the people who frequent that forum.

these boards exist for us to express ourselves on a range of topics. it's not suprising that tempers flare up with religion/politics/etc. are discussed. :shrug:

Hence it's a good idea to avoid those topics if you don't feel like arguing. :D
