I'm looking for some photography books, but like all other books that are primarily graphics with minimal text, they're pretty expensive. So I'm looking for used books. Since I'm living overseas at the moment, I'd need an online bookstore. Amazon seems to have all the books I need, but they're used book section has been screwy for the last month or so, and I can't put any books into my shopping cart. Can you recommend any other online used book sources? I'll probably be paying a hefty price for shipping charges anyway, so price isn't too much of a problem. I'm more interested in a site with a good collection.
TIA~!!

hehe...Readin my post again, I realize I sort of contradict myself huh? :dead:
Well, price isn't TOTALLY out of the picture. Hardcover books vary extremely between used and new. I meant a little price variation isn't a big deal among the used books.

I like alibris.com. They have gotten me some really good textbooks for under $20.00. There is also a site called abebooks.com.

Have you tried Powells.com? Powell's brick and mortar is the largest used bookstore in the world. They have a website, so I'd imagine you could find stuff there.

ebay
hands down, probably the most cheapest place to get them, if you're a) lucky b) looking for an obscure book that nobody would want

I like www.bigwords.com (http://www.bigwords.com). Not to mention that I won an early contest of theirs and got an early model mp3 player. 32 megs! Whee!
