S: Lousy Weekend

1) Went to SD to visit friends, particularly one who just graduated and is in town. Unfortunately, didnt meet up with him all weekend coz he was stoned off his gourd the whole weekend. Everyone else was in Vegas. Couldnt go back to LA coz everyone was also in Vegas.

2) I got a letter from the Atari Rebate center, and they said that my rebate is disqualified b/c I purchased UT2k4 outside the qualifiying period. I pre-ordered it along with everyone else here (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71916&page=3&highlight=ut2k4)

3) There was mad traffic getting back to LA from SD. By John Wayne Airport on the 405S, there was a huge accident involving a motorcycle, couple of SUVS, and 4-5 cars, all along a quarter-mile stretch. It was so bad, that they had to close 2 lanes on the 405N side (the side I was traveling on).

4) I forgot my phone charger back in SD.

5) I have to work tomorrow.

6) Verizon overcharges me by 2 times. Instead of paying ~35 i'm now supposedly have to pay $70.

Turns out that everyone who purchased the game before 3/15/2004 (the day the rebate started), those people have been sent rebate disqualification cards. But the CSR lady (heaven bless her soul, she was nice) said that they're trying to fix the "error by technicality" and rebate should go through in 2 weeks.
