Since skill is in question, I doubt there is a better skier on these forums than myself (bow down). I've been wearing a helmet for 13 years now, primarily because it was required for racing, but even in free skiing, a helmet's CRUCIAL.
I've heard horror stories of great skiers who have gotten hit in the head with the end of another skier's pole (that one caused fatality), and to a lesser degree, some reckless skier/snowboarder colliding with them. You'll never be "good enough" not to ever have to worry about needing one in my opinion

I got the matte black one. I'm an ok snowboarder. I fall less now but regardless it's always good to wear one. I mean dude it's your noggin.

and i doubt there's a better snowboarder than me....heh heh. i'm in the ski patrol so i do it all of the time. have for about 12 years. yay. i'm freakin' old. :dead:

u guys all suck. i went 2 times this winter. i'm badass, bitches! :P well yea its a good thing to wear one, but i was just wondering if its just that you're scared. you pussy. :P
