yesterday was ****in awesome. slept til 10, got up, showered shaved and waited to goto graduation. left for graduation at 1230, it started at 2, went for 50 mins(89 in my class, we all made it, some by 1 pt) then we went out side and threw our caps. afterwards we wandered around for pictures. dad and i ended up crying on each other, and so did my grandmother and i(for those that don't know, for the past 6 years, its been me and my dad, with my grandma a mile away, raising each other.)

went to 3 grad parties, saw some friends, then we home for mine, which started at 6. good turn out, 570 in cash, 17" flat screen for my box, a stereo for my dorm room, 'in search of america' by jennings and brewester.

about 1 am, 7 of us(friends, all gradumatated this year) walked around town(we have about 2500 ppl in town) with one of us in a gorilla costume. we chased him, and he chased us down the main street. then as we were walking home, a police car pulled up beside us. we were kindly asked to return to my house, because 'if anything happened on the streets, we would be blamed'.

then we play euchre until 4 ish and slept out in a tent. then for some unknown reason, we got up at fuggin 730. blah.

all in all, much fun, lots of laughs.

Sh*t, on my highschool graduation, my entire family got mad at me. afterwords, i waited outside for them to show up so they can take a picture of me. 5 minutes pass, I saw a few of my friends congradulated them, etc. 10 minutes pass, talked to a couple more of my friends. 15 minutes passed, I sat down on a bench, people are dwindling outside. After 30 f*cking minutes, and no one outside besides me, I decided, "f*ck it," and went and turned in my gown and cap, and then went to the after party thing in the cafeteria where most of the food was already gone. Stayed there for like 10 minutes and then went looking for the folks. I finally found them and they went ballistic cause i didn't have my cap and gown anymore and were soooo upset they couldn't get a picture of me in it. My mom was f*cking crying. maybe she shouldn't have made me wait. that's what she gets for being irrational and making the evil one wait.

:bonk:

I know it was your day, but it sounds like miscommunication and to be mad at your mom.... :hmm: :bonk: Boy, she gave you life, paid for stuff/took care of you during your education and upbringing.... Why didn't you go get the cap and gown back and take some pics after you found them?
I guess it's too late to wonder why and stuff, but it's not cool of you to not understand her tears.

no, its sounds like his parents were being a$$holes and they got what they deserved. They made him wait and miss most of his afterparty too. I would've been pissed...

The way i see it, i didnt ask to be born. I didnt want to be born, and i dont want to be here on this fugged up earth right now. Someone made a selfish decision to have a kid (me) because they wanted a new toy (a baby). Supporting the kid until that kid can live on its own is the BARE MINIMUM the parents can do. Thanking someone for doing the bare minimum usually isnt required. Whens the last time you're boss thanked you for doing teh bare minimum at your job? Never. You only get thanked if you go way above and beyond the standard.

BTW, congrats on your graduation. Get ready for life. It sucks.

I remember before you saying that you were going to Waynesburg. Why did you choose Waynesburg? I am always curious as to the "why" behind college selections. :)
