So my brother comes online and msgs me "Bro, you gotta help me"

(always a good sign isn't it?)

turns out he's probably gonna fail a class.

"What class do you think you failed?"

no response

so i tried different approach

"What class are you sure you'll pass?"

his response (typed letter for letter):

"engish"

:disa:

Is this why you were asking me if i knew any tutors?

it's the asian pronunciation that's all

Maybe it is just a typo and you're over reacting.

That aside, passing only one class isn't really a good thing. Typically students take more than two classes.

Did that for several semesters while I was in school. I believe Slaus experienced it last semester.

you can take 6 classes if 3 are PE classes. Bowling. Archery. Golf

A lot of folks take 6 classes at a time in college.

Took 18 credits at once and thought about killing myself. No time to not worry about a class. Paper one week, exams the next, paper next week, exams again. :eye:

That's the norm. People in southern cal are just like that. Academically challenged.

I'm kinda backwards in this department. The one time i took 22 units i ended up doing VERY VERY well cause i was forced to keep up. But everytime i take ~12 units i screw up cause i end up slacking off too much.

:stupid: i dont take THAT many though, but when i have a pretty full schedule, i do better. one quarter i only had 2 classes, and got c's in both classes. heh

:stupid: Took 22, 26, 24 units in a year once and my GPA actually went up a little.
