Oh my gosh SPEEDFREAK, I though I was the only one who knew how to play the pensil fight. I was Jr. High school champ for many weeks. It is all in the wrist.. Hey have any tried cafeteria spork (spoon&fork in 1) fights. I was also a good player on that.

Hey, I can spin my pencil around my thumb and then hit it back to go back the other way with my index finger and then back again with my middle finger, etc. forever. I once made it through an entire organic chemistry class without dropping my pencil and having it in motion continuosly. Oh, and I learned the trick in high school from non-Asian guys. I thought it was debate people that knew the trick.

Hey I was the undisputed pencil fighter at my school junior and senior year. The trick actually in the thumb sending inertia and using an Orion #3 pencil with the metal casing at the tip.

I also got up to record breaking Ticonderogas when doing the hand-to-knee slap with the pencils under the middle finger. Damn that hurt though hehe.

i'm chinese and can do that whole "behind the middle finger thing" and also the "twirl between the middle finger and pointer finger" thing. I have not yet been able to learn the "over the thumb" trick. I was just trying in a meeting earlier today too. Also, I was in Cheerleading nationals so maybe it was the whole twirling thing that got me on the squad. :P

Anyway, it is a bad habit. I kept dropping my pencil when i was taking SAT's. Embarrassing.....

Here's why:
liquor before beer
liquor hits first. by the time the beer hits, the liquor's gone.

beer before liquor
beer doesn't hit right away, but when it does, so does the liquor.
