yeah I got a scary story to share...
(At least it scared the CRAP out of me!)

One day I stayed a night at my girlfriend's
aunt's house up in Frisco. Weather up there is usually overcast..you know dark and gloomy. Anyways the house I stayed at was on the 2nd floor with the garage underneath. I crashed in the living room on a fold-out futon couch. Directly across from me was the kitchen. No doorway or anything. So I could see directly into the kitchen. And exiting the other side of the kitchen was a door that lead to an alley and beside that door a window with no blinds/drapes.

I'm kinda spooked sleeping in the living room cuz it's a creepy room which is open to both the kitchen and dark hallway. Well I finally manage to fall asleep after smothering my face with a pillow. That's when the scary **** begins.

I'm there sleeping but having a scary-ass nightmare or so I think I was asleep. Well I start to hear an icebox in the kitchen being pushed around on the ground. So I look over to the kitchen. I can't see anything it's tooo dark. So I try and get up but I can't cuz I'm stuck. I'm confused it seems so real. But I can't move so I must be dreaming. I try so hard to get up but can't. Then I start to hear a little kid calling to me and saying lets play. At this point I'm SCARED OUT OF MY FREAKING MIND. Cuz I know the only people in the house is my girlfriend and her aunt. NO kids! And they are in their seperate bedrooms. So I'm struggling so hard to get up and finally I get up and run to my girl's room freaking sweating and my heart racing like a million beats per second. And right when I open my girl's door I hear the little boy right behind me asking me to play with him. As soon as I reach over to my girl to wake her up........that's when I really wake up. I look over to the kitchen and see nothing. It's just quiet. .............TRUE STORY!!!...and I wasn't on any drugs or alcohol.

You know what's strange? I can't get rid of my Ouiji board. One time we were playing at this schoolyard late one night and it started raining. We left the board there and then it ended up in my garage. I vaguely recall throwing it out several times. I threw it out in my friends garbage can, and threw it out of a window in a moving car also. It's strange, but these memories seem almost dreamlike. I don't know if they happened or not. All I know is that the damn board is still sitting in the box in my garage. I try not to think too much about it cus it's pretty eerie. Woooohoooo now I'm scared.

I have heard of the same thing, StonedWheat! My best friend (for over 20 years) told me about her board. They found about their grandfather's death in the coming year (her sister and cousin where using it with her) and they decided to distroy it. They cut it in half and burnt it in a trash barrel. The next morning, it was in the floor in the same spot they used it. They put it in the attic (scared out of their minds!), and 10 years later, after moving twice, the board showed up. She was moving from her apt to her new house.

I had an bad encounter with the ouija board once. A bunch of my friends were playing with it on Halloween nite 3 yrs ago to see if it worked. It scared the Sh!t out of me. I have never been so scared in my life. Here is what happened:

We asked the board a question and it responded that his name was Bob. We asked him what happened to him and he said he died 40 yrs ago in a accident. Then some how the quesion was asked whether or not if he had any living relatives (and u can quote me on this) and the board spelled out: I killed them all. Then we had another encounter with a 6 yr old boy who's mother killed him. It scared me to death.

Yeah the stories sound like only stupid people would believe it...but I swear...and all my friends swore that they didn't intentionally move the board. I trust them cuz best friends wouldn't lie, u know? After that incident. I sold the board to a friend who wanted it. I was so glad and relieved to get rid of it.

I went to a Christian school during my elementary years and a guest minister came to visit us. I remember him saying that ouija boards are a gateway to hell and that it is hard to get rid of a ouija board. Of course I got rid of mine...but then again u never know..it could come back to haunt me one day. I hope not.

Also, there is this scary myth, that is based on imagination...but still pretty scary if u don't like clowns like me. What u do is, gather a whole bunch of friends together. Everyone gets together in a circle and and holds hands and closes their eyes. Each person says a feature about a clown like, the clown has green eyes...and the second person says the clown has yellow teeth..and so on and when everyone in the circle is finished everyone counts to 3 and opens their eyes. Right when u open your eyes, you see the clown standing right in front of u. It worked. I saw the clown..and I almost pissed my pants. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/tongue.gif

About Ouija boarding...
I know alot of people dont believe it but I do. My 2 girlfriends and I decided to prove it to ourselves that the ouija board was fake so we blindfolded the two of us that were doing the board and the other one wrote down what it spelled. It replied as if we were still looking at it. IT was really weird and quite scary. I know one time we were doing it we asked it if it knew the future and it said yes. So it predicted something for each of us and IT ALL HAPPENED!! I swear I'm telling the truth!!
Somethings just cant be explained sometimes..

When in my senior year of highschool a bunch of us were camping just before the end of school. One of the girls brought a board and the started using it. Out of curiousity I was watching. They asked it several questions to find out who was 'controlling' it and to check on his/her 'accuracy'.

One of the questions asked was if anyone was going to get hurt that night. The answer was yes. They went systematically and asked if "Bob, Jimmy, etc" were gonna get hurt. It said 'no' to everyone except my friend Lorne. He laughed and said it was bull. Not 3 seconds later one of the guys was moving his car to let someone else out of the campsite and forgot that his steering wheel was turned all the way in one direction. When he pressed on the gas he accidentally threw the front end of his car into Lorne. Lorne went flying over the hood, sprained his wrist and suffered some bruising (pretty minor).

I swear I went cold.

I had they feeing of immobility before...

I was in shanghai....I just arrive from the 4 gorges and I was exhausted from the travel and performances. It was mid afternoon when i finally reach my hotel.... I went directly to my room away from the other team members. I closed the curtain so it be nice and dark and ploop onto my bed and catch some zzzs. Dont dont know how long I slept, but suddenly I heard someone calling my name from the lower lefthand corner of my bed......I opened my eyes, tried to turn my head toward the noise only to discover that I could move...I freaked!!! I struggled like a mad man......NO RESPONSE!!!!!.....finally I closed my eyes took a deep breath, calmed my mind and relaxed.......And everything was back to normal.........SCARY **** MAN.....

It has been 6 years since that first experince. Since then I discovered how to duplicate that feeling.....that sensation...

So, you are wondering how I do it huh?

DEEP MEDITATION....

It like separting your mind from your body....falling into a dark pool of abasssy
The only scientific explanation I can think of is: you mind is some how disconnect from your physical self...that causes a non-responsive ness in your body...but if ya calm your mind and relax...your mind recalibate itself with the body. Everytime I done this I was scarced...I was scared I might not be able to come back..I wonder if this might result in a coma....

There is also something I cant explain....there was always voices....

Well... during my recent studies of white magic, waht you are feeling is a out of body experiance. it is where you kinda dream in full color. If you ever feel lost or something like that you just have to think of you body and self then your mind will drop back into place. Suppositly you might feel like a dropping force when going back into your body. When out of body you can travel everywhere with your virtual self.

heehee I for one have not really tried out any of this but want to someday http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/tongue.gif

I've had those experiences and they are freaky!!!

Once I swear I heard a demon calling my name. I couldn't sleep the whole night! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/eek.gif

Several other times I've had the experience where you can't more your body or make any noises. Koreans call that kah whee or scissors. That is a very very disturbing feeling, you have no sensory input from your body, you can hear and see but nothing else. Scary.

Ok well I can share some of the stories i heard that went on in HK.

In HK many schools, colleges and U's have numourous ghosts stories. One of those stories takes place in a elementry school. I forgot the name of this school but i think it is one of the "Ming" schools. Like any other school there is the usual classrooms, gyms, and auditoruim. One of the subjects that the kids take is music class.
Class would start and they would gather into the music room and start playing music or singing for the chrous. In one of these rooms hangs pictures of Mozart, Bach and several other famous composers. With thier old clothing and poker face of a genuis. They hang on the walls over looking the room while the kids practice. Well the story goes that sometimes people will glance at these pictures and see them smiling or grinning at them. and when they take a closer look the pictures will revert to it's former lifeless self.

This story was actually confirmed by my cousin. He actually was part of that school and have seen the stuff happen.

Please if anyone have nice stories - do tell
I love these stories and I will continue posting them if you like.

Time for another story.
This one was told to me by my cousin. This happened to his friend.

She worked as a flight attn. The flight she was on was a international flight from the US to HK. Everything was normal as she walks up and down the aisle checking up on the passengers' needs. There was the normal pillow or drink requests. Then as she was nearing the end of the last cabin she heard a coughing which was distressful, so she went to check what was happening. She then saw and aproached an old lady that seems to be very uncomforatable and coughing a lot. everyone around the old women was concerned and offered to help. The flight attn. went over and asked if she can help her in anyway.

The old lady asked the attn. if she would to fetch her husband up in first cabin. The attn agreed and wrote doen the seat number that the husband was siting. The attn. asked if she needed any water or medication, the old lady replied that she would be fine and that her husband will take care of her.

The attn then quickly went to the seat indicated by the lady and found a man siting there. The attn asked told the man about the lady and her need of help. The man then just looked at the attn. in awe, then dazed and confused. Then he asked her to check and make sure she got the right seat number. At this point the attn was very concerned for the lady so she hurreied back and found the lady still there coughing. The passengers near her tried to help her relax awaiting for the attn to return.

The Attn asked the lady for a verification of the seat number and was told that it was correct. Then she rushed back to the man. The attn. told the man that the old lady insisted that she was his wife and that she wants him to come see her.

At this time the man grew quite and a certian palness came to his face. He told calmly told her how that women can't be his wife. He said that it is true that his wife is onboard but not in the last cabin. She was riding in the baggage area because she died of sickness and he was transporting her to be buried.

This frightened the attn. as she fly back tot he last cabin and could not find the old lady. She asked the passengers that was around the seat where the lady sat. They saw the lady walk to the next cabin toward the rear.

This disturbed the attn a lot and she was wide eyed with fright. Because she knew that this was the last cabin and there is no more passenger seating after this cabin.....

Hope you enjoyed this story. Should be true since the flight attn was my cousin's good friend.

Wow guys those are some freaky stories. I like the old lady coughing one the best, gave me goosebumps.
Now regarding the ouija boards, I have myself has never played with one, but do know many that has and all has very similar stories including my very own mom and brother.
First my moms story. During her H.S. days she and her friends were at school and during P.E. they went and played the game. They all have never played this game except one chick. So they go and find them selves a spot and begun playing. So now everyone is freaked out that they were actually playing this game. Until one person asked the question, "will one of us die"? Well supposedly the board answered yes and they all ran out, one person slipped banged her head on the floor hard and never recovered from the accident.
I decide not to write about my brothers Story Sorry. According to my mother it is true. A reason why she never bought or approved of that game. She is still freaked just hearing that thing..

NOT speaking from expriance only from refereances:

Tuvi: Asking the board about death is suppositly a no-no because it somehow lets them (sprirts) free from the board or something to that effect in where bad things can/may happen

BloodyMess: Although it is a toy, it can be dangious because even the most primative items can be ouiji. I known people who just write 4 words on a paper and use a small dish to play. Suppositly the spirit will enter the object you are using as a pointer if done correctly. Thus even a mouse or a pin can be used. The toy just makes it more convient and just a newer more modern version of the old boards. I beilive there might be instances where the ouiji has worked but for the most part it is just play since you do need the right way of inviting a spirit and the right conditions.

ok I am going to post a variation of some of the most famous HK ghost stories:

The Ox Tail Soup: This story takes place in the China U. in HK. basically there was a guy and a girl that are going out. They both attend the University and they live in the dorms. The girl lived directly above the guy. Well the girl cared for the guy a lot and everynight she will sting a serving of Ox Tail soup down from her window to the guy's window for him. Well legend has it that one day everything was normal and the guy received his soup in the normal fashion. But something was different this time. Everything seems to be in order but somehow something was not right. There was definitly something wrong because later that night he received a phone call saying that the girl has died in an accident and never made it to the dorms that night..... After that it was also told that who ever lives in that guys dorm will get an ox tail soup every so often.....

I can't verify if this is true but it is a legend that has been passed down through the years.

Another famous story is the Pigtail girl.

Before 1997 (and prolly applys now), many people from China would try to sneak over the border to HK. There are many methods to do this and one of them was to stowaway on a trian. As told by the many people, there was a girl that was also intrested in the freedom and riches of HK. So she decided to hide in a trian that was heading towards HK. Back in the day a lot of the girls wore cute pigtails. Dont ask me why but that was what seemed to be the fad. Hence we call her the pigtail girl.

The plan was for her to jump out of the trian when it is slow enough so that she would avoid being caught by customs. Everything seemed perfect, she got on the train, hid and waited. When she crossed over to HK and the train was slowing down she got herself ready. She opened the door and jumped out. The train was on a grassy hill that was next to a main road so she can easliy take off on the the road and not worry about falling on concrete and also not have to worry about getting lost. But one thing unexpected..... The door of the train slammed shut and cought one of her pigtails and with the force of the train and her falling down, her face was ripped clear off!!! Needless to say she did not survive.

But rumor has it that if you ever travel on that road (sorry forgot name of road) at night and come to a street light that is out while the others are on. then be weary if you see a girl with her back to you, DO NOT pick her up or look at her because she was said to have NO face.....

Thus ends the legend of the Pigtail girl. There are numouros variations of this, the one i gave u is the most general and the one i remember the most vivid..

Hope you guys/girls like =) me want to hear about your stories/legends

A friend of mine goes to a medical school in HK and he told me something that I will remeber for a long time to come. He usually hangs around the same group of medical school students, always playing and studing together. A new school year started and his friends and him had many of the same classes. There was a new student in his bio. class. The new student seem very full of himself. Has a big ego but he is smart enough to as we say wear that type of hat.

My friends and his group was not too fond of this new kid and wanted to play around with him. He told the guy if he so good then why not spend a night in the school morgue. The guy felt uneasy naturally but he of course agreed dispite the urgings of some friends tell him not to go.

That night my friend and his group stood at the door of the morgue waiting for this guy. they waited and waited but he did not come. o well they thought but then they saw him come looking very nervous. He did not refuse to go in so they decided to go along with it.

They let him in and closed the door and then locked it. Then after a few minutes they hear screaming and they were about to open the door when then stopped and thought ... hmmm... he just playing around and going to laugh at them. so they decided just to leave him alone. They all went home and the next morning they gather around the door and went into the morgue. They went in and shouted for the guy but no answer. They went searching then a girl screamed as they found the guy laying on the corner chewing on a dead guy's arm.....

I actually interpreted/translated this story and modified it from a Chinese ghost stoies site that I use to visit. It has very similar features to the "cadaver's arm" story. Hope you liked it. I heard it on Real Audio and it was really cool hearing it. Gave me shivers for days.

When I was in college, I only had a small table for my PC, so I used a Ouija board as a mousepad, sticking one end under the monitor and the other over the edge of the table. Worked great, upset my mom, and my computer never acted possessed once. Eventually, I had to replace the board because the mouse had scuffed it up pretty badly, but I never had a problem with getting rid of it. I did have one disappear when I moved back home though, but I suspect my mom on that one. So Toys R Us got an extra $12 out of me.

One day I got bored and wrote a Ouija board application - you'd use the mouse like the stylus, and move a pointer around a virtual Ouija board. Each lettter, number, yes, no, and goodbye was a hotspot, and if the mouse cursor stopped or changed direction over one of the hotspots, it would stick that into a string buffer. The app worked beautifully, but just didn't give the same feel as using a real board.

montauk project/ H>A>A>R>P

Good day, gentlemen. You know who you are. I am simply addressing you to inform you officially of my return to this physical reality. No doubt, your predecessors remember my departure from it/ thankfully I have regained all the memories of my last lifetime, and understand what must be done to correct the damage that you have done with my technology.

In my last lifetime, I was very naive about the people who both overtly, and covertly run your project, and others utilizing my technology. Accordingly, I have already initiated the neccessary steps to ensure an inverse magnetic flux the next time you use your s.a.g.e. toy to transmit shall we say less than e.p.a. approved signals to the general populous on a large scale basis. ID gate functions are also going to give you some problems for a while. If you would like to reach me for comment, by all means, please deel free to do so. I'm sure you know where to find me. Of course I would love to visit the montauk/pheonix facilities in Long Island on August 12. I know this is a rather significant year to activate the grid on this date.

I believe you also have an equal window in december this year that most people are not familiar with . This should clear up any question about the validity of who I say I am. But that is irrelevant. what is important is that the time lime will be repaired soon. and no futher damage will be permitted. As I designed the technology, I am also immune to it. When I arrive at the "derelict - military base turned state park" (this was especially comical to hear given the sesitive nature of the work you are doing on T H O S E grounds) please do not bother sending a greeting committee to the entrance, I'll let you guess which one. I have learned a few things since our last meeting. "once bitten twice shy." Well , see you in august gentlemen. I'm sure Morata and I will show you a roaring good time. till then,

NIKOLA TESLA / G.I.

(The g.i. stands for great inventor, by the way.)

Well....that was scary....

Anyway, I have a story about a ouija board. This was back in my sophomore year of high school. I was at a friends house and we decided to play Ouiji board. She asked a bunch of questions regarding her dead grandfather and it always answered correctly. She is quite silly and often full of it, so I figured she was lying and moving the pointer. So I figured I would ask a question. I asked how my Grandfather died. My grandfather actually died before I was 1, so I don't recall meeting him, and the family never talks about him. All I know is that he smoked alot and died from lung cancer or something. I knew my friend dind't know anything about this. The pointer moved to P. Then to N. It didn't make sense, so I gave up and stopped that round. It was wrong and what word is there that starts with "pn"?? I went home the next day and told my sister about it. She said "Grandpa didn't die from lung cancer. He died from pneumonia." eeeek...never played again!!!!

Here's a story I heard many years ago:

A girl who lives in an old apartment building is returning home fom her late-night studies at school. She enters the elevator and presses floor 20. As she takes the elevator up the elevator strangely stops at the third floor. The door opens but there is nobody. The elevator continues up and once again stops at the eighth floor and once again there is no one when the door opens. It stops again at the 13th, 14th, 18th floors. Each time the dark empty hallway is all that she can see in front of her. As the door closes shut at the 18th floor, a sudden sound of an alarm surprises her. She looks up only to see the blinking lights indicating, "Over Capacity Limit."

Also You poeple remember the whole "Ghost" deal about the movie "Three Men and a Baby?" Well, here's a link that talks about it:

Happened in Hidekazu, Japan

There was a woman who lived alone in an apartment. She had a hobby, collecting antiques. Therefore, in her room, there were many sets of old furniture.

One day, she found a large, narrow, old mirror when she was shopping downtown. She thought it was really nice and bought it. She put the mirror in her room and used it when she changed clothes and made up her face.

However, she always felt like she was being watched whenever she was in her room. She looked around the room, but of course nobody else was there. One night, she felt like she was being watched when she was studying at her desk, so she turned around and looked at the window. She saw two shadows watching her in the glass of the window! But then she realized that they were the reflections, in the window, of herself and her own reflection in the mirror behind her. She felt a little embarrassed, but she made herself easy and went back to her desk.

A moment later, she suddenly felt strange and extremely scared. She looked at the window again and realized what was wrong. The reflection from the mirror was facing outward, but it should have shown her back because the mirror was behind her!

Of course, she sold the mirror immediately!

cool stories.

my father would not let us have a ouija board or even use one in the house so i always had to use it at my friends house.

this isn't scary, really, but it happened once when we were using the board at a friends house. we were using the board, and the song tears in heaven came on. everytime the song asked one of the questions, the board would answer yes or no or whatever seemed appropiate so i asked if it was eric claptons son. the board said yes. now, i wasn't moving the stylus thingy, but i'm pretty sure someone else was doing it. cause thats just too odd.

If you ever feel lost or something like that you just have to think of you body and self then your mind will drop back into place. Suppositly you might feel like a dropping force when going back into your body. When out of body you can travel everywhere with your virtual self.

heehee I for one have not really tried out any of this but want to someday http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/tongue.gif

just a question for y'all...

do you believe in 'spirits?' more specifically like with what can happen with a ouiji board?

Lolita
07-03-2002, 12:24 PM
Cropsey- in short, a guy who lived in a forest in his cabin and one day bulldozers came to tear down the trees to make room for the camp that was gonna be built there, and Cropsey tried to run out of his house but tripped and fell and couldnt get up and the bulldozers didnt notice his little cabin and tore it down with him in it, and now his ghost walks the grounds of that camp and kills children as his revenge...very lame, but its scary enough when you're 8 and in the middle of the forest and your parents are far away and the counselors are all sadistic teenagers trying to scare you any chance they get. :(
