i have a job interview in a few hours... wooo/ahhhh!

half of me is excited, the other half wants to go jump out the window :dead:

It is with Bain & Company in Boston, not as a consultant though, doing internal IT stuff.

I think i am all prepared, been reading books, studying the company, etc etc for the last week.

Well anyways, i am off soon to go meet with a tech recruiter to prep me for the interview. Wish me luck! No voodoo curses or anything, unless it is on the other applicants.

Good luck with the interview! Just tell them you're a HUGE Patriots and BoSox fan. That should guarantee you a job with any Bahston firm :)

Good luck.

Remember a positive first impression goes a long way and handshakes are old news. I love it when a prospective hire comes in and we bump fists and they let out a big, "Wasssssup!"

Just a suggestion. :wavey2:

Remember, when you shake the persons hand, make sure to yank their hand immediately into your crotch, you'll be guaranteed a job

thanks Nija and and faither lol. the person i interviewed with was named bonnie. So i went in, we bumped fists and they i let out a big, "Wasssssup Bon Bon!"

heh.

Actually it went quite well i think. I met with the HR person, and then the Help Desk Manager, and then the Developers Manager. So i take it as a good sign they wanted me to meet those people. Now i just have to wait... well and send them a thank you note.

Thank you note or thank you email?

thanks for all the Goodluck everyone.

of course today, the one day i wear a suit, it was like 95 degrees out... boo, going to be 66 tomorrow, wtf.

Good luck on landing the job. I'm sure that Waffle House could use a man with your impressive full set of teeth....I mean your impressive credentials.

Did you remember to circle "4" under "last grade completed" on the application? That's a must.

any news on yours?

yeah...it came down to one other person and me, and one other person got it.

i really thought i had it too. 3 interviews totalling 4 hours, several emails, and they called 5 references (all which gave me good references)

back to the drawing board, thanks for asking. :)
