Toilet cleaning procedure..
1. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and put both lids up.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. (You may need to stand on the lid) The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. (Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this)

4. Flush the toilet three or four times. (this provides a "power-wash" and "rinse").

5. Have someone open the door to the outside (be sure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door.)

6. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

7. The now clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself off.

The toilet will be sparkling clean!

Sincerely,

The Dog

i think the cat's fur is much more useful in this case...

Plus, the cat will thrash around much more than a child. The cat's claws are also particularly useful on those stubborn hard water stains.

Yeah, I saw this many years ago (I think it was emailed to me). The version I saw had a few more details after step 3(such as on the bottom of this page (http://www.howtocleananything.com/hca_tip_listingByCategory.asp?Category=Pet&SubCategory=Cats):
CAUTION: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for anything they can find.

[edit] I found a GREAT version of this here (http://www.cleanfunny.com/Humorous-People.php/bath-dog-cat-washing-satire.html).

And...Nate's memory is a bit clouded. He used to like to splash in the toilet. On his first birthday, we decided to let him have some free time playing. :D

The dirty laundry gets aired! More! More!

Just as long as Sam doesn't get in on this, I say we turn this into a G|A? free for all where family members complain about each other!
