Usually they are great. But I've been dealing with them for almost 2 months on a single issue. They don't really have a good phone number to call to resolve the issue. Like everyone else, they force people to use their web form. Anyhow, read the correspondance. Should I ask for something free for them ****ing around whilst I carry the balance?
I did not exchange ticket 012 7484 787 160 for ticket number 012 2100 476 015. I flew standy on ticket 012 7484 787 160 and needed a refund for the unused ticket 012 2100 476 015. Please have someone contact me via phone today regarding this issue. I can be reached on my cell phone at 269-867-5309.
I have been trying to resolve this issue since April 22 and am getting somewhat frustrated. I appreciate your help but feel that a phone call would be a better means to discuss my refund.
Regards,
Cheapie

Carmela,
Thank you once again for your response. As per me credit card records,
I now show two seperate credits to my account. One for the amount of
$353.59 and one for $382.61 for a total of $736.20. However, according
to my receipt and my American Express statement, the price of the ticket
to be refunded is $836.20. Please let me know when the additional $100
can be deposited into my American Express account.
Thanks in advance!
Cheapie

Michelle,
Hello! I have an issue that I apparently need the assistance of customer
care to resolve. I was given a number to call (701-420-6282). I have
tried to call this number for several days and have gotten a message
telling me that "Due to high volume, we are unable to take your call at
this time...please contact Customer care online."
I just received my American express statement and I noticed that I have
been charged for a refundable ticket (ticket #0122100476015) that I did
not use and had a ticket agent refund.
On March 18 I was scheduled to leave ABQ on flight 1900 (ticket
#0127484787160). Unfortunately I was in the hospital and called and
postponed my flight (prior to the flight time) until the next day.
I showed up at the airport on March 19 and was put on the standby list.
The flight was full and so I was not able to fly home on the 19th.
(Many of the details are in my message below.) I was told by the gate
agent that it looked like the flights would be full for the next several
days. The agent suggested that purchase a one-way first class ticket
(ticket #0122100476015, flights NW1900 and NW5659) and use it in the
event I could not get a seat by flying standy.
I showed up March 20 and was able to board the morning flight (NW0624)
with my standby ticket (ticket #0127484787160). When I got to the
Worldclub in Minneapolis I had a ticket agent cancel the refundable
ticket (ticket #0122100476015). I received assurances from him that it
was refunded and that there wouldn't be any problems. Also, when my
miles showed up on NWA.com, the proper flight numbers (NW0624 and
NW5699)showed up in my WorldPerks account summary.
As I stated earlier, I just received a copy of my American Express bill
and I have been charged for ticket #0122100476015 in the amount of
$836.20.
I need to have this amount credited to my credit card account. Please
make sure that this happens fairly quickly as I do not want to pay
American Express a late fee.
Please contact me at 269-867-5309 regarding this issue.
Best regards,
Cheapie
