Since I know that Nickel LOVES "dental threads", I thought I'd share this one...

http://content.health.msn.com/content/article/88/100020.htm?GT1=3479

- Non-cola soft drinks caused two to five times the damage as darker drinks, such as Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper.
- Canned iced tea caused 30 times the enamel damage as brewed tea or coffee.
- Non-cola drinks cause up to 180 times more tooth enamel damage than did water.
- Root beer was the safest soft drink tested.

Non-cola drinks contain flavor additives that are "far more aggressive" at eroding teeth, compared with regular cola soft drinks such as Coke and Pepsi, he writes.

brush/floss, use a fluoride rinse, don't drink sugarful sodas - you be OK

actually the acid in sodas does a lot of damage to your teeth over time, too.

I hardly drink any soda or can-whatever. Mostly I drink water and hot green tea.

I've tried to quit drinking soda and coffee sooo many times. :( That's just one serious monkey on my back. I hope that my teeth can take it.

Damn... now I don't even get the convenience of a canned drink? I gotta brew my own? Sorry.. way too lazy.

My dentist actually told me not to drink brown sodas when I was younger cuz of my teeth, but said Sprite and others were fine. Weird.

because of this "study" everyone is now going to rinse their mouths with Pepsi every night before bedtime.

This is how you look like if you drink 10 cans of soda everyday.
