Anything I had ever seen on G4 before the merger sucked. The shows were always re-runs from MONTHS ago and featured cheesy hosts who obviously were hired because they thought kids would find them cool - but really they looked like over-excited idiots. I caught a glimpse of g4techtv last night and nothing had changed. Another show reviewing video games that came out months ago. The video game industry/community is very fast paced. A network that can't keep up with it is just never going to work.

g4 was a game channel and they thought it would be a good idea to merge with techtv, basically they left 3 or 4 tech tv shows and killed the others, they also knocked out all the good hosts and replaced them with losers who have never spoken in front of a camera in their life, the game shows that they do have are several weeks old and are pretty pointless

i saw one that was just game intros to music, great work, i wish that i could go to college to do that.

anyways the whole channel is just a big ball of crap right now and basically that was one of the 2 channels i watched every day. Guess my tv is just staying on speed channel 24/7 now

I'm a G4 fan and from what little I have seen so far I am not happy either. G4 was getting better and better (with up to date reviews of video games) and so this came at a pretty bad time. I am pretty sure that they will survive but I wonder how long it is going to take before they get their act together :shrug:

I don't have TechTV either. The only thing I know about it is that there's some short-haired brunette who posted pictures of herself topless online. That's MY kind of host!
