So I was looking up tonight and realized I had forgotten how many stars there were. So I took a couple pictures.

These were both taken with my canon s400 w/ 15 second exposure.

and I did some editing of the levels in photoshop

revil those are very nice pictures.
i love to look up at the night sky and wonder if the one i love is looking up at the same stars as i.

I thought, "Wow, those are a lot of stars." And then I realized most of them were artifacts.

But still, cool with pictures.

any hoo..the stars were beautiful all over..the New York sky was filled with them as well last night-

My favorite is when you are down in the islands or just off at sea on a sail boat. More stars than you would ever believe were there.

Here in socal I only see about 5 stars because of all the nasty light pollution
