Yep, finally got a 4 bedroom house here on Nellis :D
So, late July - early August, we will be moving about 3 blocks down :D We will have a garage (so the bicycles can come out of my hallway! and the motorcycle can have a home) and I don't have to hear about how Mikey's room is bigger than Audrey's room anymore, along with Patrick having his own room now :D (no more waking up to him rolling around in bed and playing!)

Very excited!

Now, suckage:

Yuck! Now I have to clean this house for an inspection, pack and unpack a Uhaul in a 24 hr period and all the neat stuff that goes with :D

So, anyone have any boxes?

yeah, moving is always suckage, but it's good you guys are getting a bigger house :)

I am going to do the cleaning on this house for housing to inspect, yes.

I swore when we moved in that I would *never* clean another house again - that I would hire the task out. Well, I can't see paying someone to do it. I am not a bad housekeeper so there won't be *too much* scrubbing to do. My neighbor said she would help when I was ready to clean.

I cleaned when we left Vandenburg AFB and the only thing they found was lint under the fridge... who lifts the fridge up to clean under it?? I do now! :P

Cleaning it right there on the spot :P

I just couldn't believe that they would move the fridge away from the wall and TILT it back to expose the coils on the underside! I mean, I moved it away from the wall and cleaned there and the sides, back and such, but I didn't think to clean the UNDERNEATH of the fridge itself!


Saw the house today and signed for it. Move date is approx July 25 and our pre inspection on this house is Monday.

Still looking for boxes :D

Congrats. My brother won't stop talking about the one time he slept at a military base was when there was an air show at Nellis, and he couldn't get the sleep he wanted.
