NSS: Good Friends

I just have to say that one of my good friends drove all the way down from LA to help me and my wife move into our new place today. Definitely cool that he would drive 2 hours just to help us out. He also showed up with another pickup which was an unexpected benefit.

We took him out to Claim Jumpers for dinner as a thank you. (I also gave him a pioneer receiver we werent using since he told me that he didnt have a stereo)

At this point we are stradling the two locations, all of the big items have been moved over, but we still arent fully moved in (need to buy a new bed and get it delivered, bring over clothes, and get things organized enough that its liveable)

Definitely good to have a friend who was so willing to go the extra distance.

I'm thinkin' that he's saying that he came by way of a "pickup truck" which could assist him in moving his stuff in addition to the "pickup truck" he probably already was using to move with.

I could be wrong... but that's how I took his statement. :D
