I placed an order Tuesday afternoon for some retirement decorations for a party a couple of friends and I are throwing this Saturday. :cheers:

I placed the order using UPS 3 day select but before I hit the submit button I called them to make sure the order would be here by July 2nd... the guy said "no problem, that's what 3 day service is".

I checked the status this morning, the UPS sight said it would be here July 6th! :pissed:

I called Partypros 800 #, told the girl when I place the order etc. She said maybe you didn't make the cut off time. I told her I had called on Tuesday and was told I would see the order on Friday.

She put me on hold for about 10 min. The whole time I'm thinking if I don't get these decorations by the 2nd I'm going to be ticked, I had looked in all the local party shops and for some reason nobody supplies retirement decorations, I couldn't find a banner, plate, napkin, nothing... I'm thinking I'm going straight to G|A? and writing a Suckage post. :angry:

She came back on the line, apoligized for making me hold and then said that the order was shipped a day late. They are going to ship it out today at no charge to me UPS overnight, when I recieve the other order on the 6th to write refused on it and give it back to the driver. :thumb:

Sorry for the long post... but, I figured if I was going to make a suckage post about this company, I might as well make a NSS post since everything turned out cool.

Thanks to Partypros.com for coming through for me and not giving me a hassle. :) And thanks to Apex for this forum and web site! :kiss:

That rules. You should send them a thank you email and explain that you're bragging about their customer service to others. The only two times I've ever called/emailed companies to give compliments, they gave me free stuff. :)

You know what would be a way cooler site than partypro.com? partyPYRO.com, where they specialize in lighting things on fire for your special event.
