I didn't know where to put this, but I think it's a health matter though it's not really a "soft" issue.

Oh, and no this has nothing to do with me being Asian.

I just hit the weights bench and did a good set. I just looked in the mirror and my eyes are sort of yellowish. I thought steroids did this. Does this just happen when a crapload of testosterone is released?

And no, I've never taken steroids or anything like that.

Man, you stole my "Have you considered that you're Asian?" joke. :)

Never had that happen, are you sure it's not just in your head?

I'm sketched out by this site's name, but here are some results:

Backed up by a government health site:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003243.htm

I was born with jaundice, and apparently they just stuck me in an incubator for a few days and I was cured... no biggie, but I don't remember it :P

But see, it sounds like your problem was just temporary, so jaundice might be a little farfetched...

I very well could be jaundice but the important question if it is is what is causing the jaundice. I would go see a doctor just to be safe. I mean it might be just your imagination or maybe you just have yellowish eyes (do you remember your eyes being white?) but it could be many things some of which is really bad if untreated so why chance it. At least have your liver checked. It probably nothing but it's relatively cheap and easy to verify that it isn't something and you do NOT want to miss it if it is something.

get some visene before you go running off to have liver scans and biopsy's. If it works-then there is nothing to worry about-you're not jaundice because if you were your urine would be a highly concentrated shade of yellow so dark that it looks orange/brown-with a really nasty metallic odor-and I think by then you'd definately have a clue that there was a problem. You just need to rid your body of alot of toxins and the yellow will clear up..eat loads of green veggies, drink tons of WATER, stay away from booze and tea (and java as well),no dairy products, and take vitamens. Try it and see if it works.

It wasn't the lighting because when I freaked out by it, I went outside to better lighting.

I drank a few cups of water and dropped some near-tear Visine (as opposed to the red eye reducing) and went to bed. I just came out of the shower and checked my eyes, and they're a lot better.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I just got freaked out for a second.

jaundice? aren't you supposed to lie out in the sun naked to get cured of jaundice? the vitamins or what not that come from the sun is supposed to get rid of it.

I think it was the combination of vitamins I took before I lifted weights, and the strenuous set I put in. But all's good.

And yes, Nija, my butt is big, whether in pants or not.
And get that KY away.

Exactly. What would the boys at seminary think?

Well, if you were Catholic, we know what they might think..... :|

I've never heard of this, but it's an idea.

Maybe it was low glucose. I notice my eyes are affected by that the most.
