SS: Skunk at work

So I get to work and there are about 10 people standing outside. As the girl and I walk in, one of the girls says that there was a skunk inside our building, and it sprayed the night manager. Great. So we walk in the door, and are immediately assualted by the skunk-ass smell. I put my lunch away and continue to walk towards our area. We get into the Customer Service area, and the smell goes away. Cool we think. So we start walking towards our side of the C.S. room, and the smell starts coming back, with a venegence. One of the girls in here says that the skunk pooped infront of our President's office ( :heh: ) which happens to be directly behind me, on the other side of the wall.

We've got 6 fans in our area to try to get rid of the smell, but it's not helping, some of the people have those surgical mask's on, but they say it's barely helping.

I hope this isn't an indication of how work is going to be today. . .

That sucks.. Umm where do you work? And how did a skunk get past your crack security team? I would imagine you lock up at night? Or is there a little skunk door on the side?
I hope it airs out fast... i would reccomend some glade plugins in high amounts.

I work at a place that does all sorts of legal work. The building is operating 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. No 'security team'. The backdoor has one of those keypad security locks, and that's the extent of our security as to the physical access to the building. I guess at about 9:00 p.m. one of our over-night pick drivers comes, and they leave the doors open while they haul all the boxes of records out. We are assuming the skunk got in at that time. It wasn't found until approx. 6:30a.m. this morning.

The company won't spring for glade plugin's or anything of the sort, so we have to keep the fans going, and all come home smelling like skunk ass, until it's all gone :rolleyes: love our management, really I do...

Well it smells half as bad as it did on friday. The fans were blowing the whole weekend, and the smell is still noticeable, but it's not eye-watering.

That really is some suckage. Your management sucks for not springing for some febreeze or something like it.
