anyways, when i read stuff like:

Celebrities that have been so overexposed and ground over and over in the press end up retreating into their own little world where their skewed sense of reality and consequence gets warped. Marilyn Monroe was a similar case in concept, only ended up much worse. I hope Britney doesn't reach that point.

I believe Britney wanted a friend in this hometown Louisiana guy, who reminded her of simpler times. A time before influences such as record execs and even her mother were trying to mold her into something a 17-year-old just couldn't get a good handle on. A time before so many people were making money off her, now including this guy who "loved" her. I feel sorry for her. She is human. That article is shameful, and so is the guy.
