Cereal Cheaper Than Free (Albertson's), YMMV

With my Albertson's Preferred Card, my 14oz General Mills Lucky Charms rang up at $4.19 -$2.19 -$2.53 today. The cereal is supposed to be on sale for $2.00 each (hence the $4.19 -$2.19), but the extra -$2.53 makes the cost NEGATIVE $0.53 per box.

Not sure if the error is just at this location (8510 Genesee Ave, San Diego CA) or what, or how soon they'll correct it... so yeah YMMV. And of course, your chances of it being unnoticed are probably best if your total is still positive.

I bought some different types of cereals (Lucky charms, cocoa puffs, etc.) some from Kellogg's that were all on sale for the $2.00 price, but ONLY the Lucky Charms rang up to be Cheaper than free. So I guess it's only Lucky Charms that does this.

I guess they really are lucky. I hope this lasts 'till the end of today. I wanted to go yesterday but didn't have the time.
