Oh nothing much really, plain '97 Civic DX. Seriously wouldn't think of fixing it up. If I want more speed, I'll get a better car.

I know what you mean. I really want to do a lot to my car. The only drawback I have is voiding my warranty. I guess I will wait a couple years before doing anything major to my Accord.

Actually, 2 kind of tangent things:

1. The McLaren LM is faster than the F1. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/wink.gif

2. The McLaren has the strongest body of any production level car, with enough carbon kevlar to withstand quite a crash (chassis sustains almost no damage up to 25-30mph, whereas most cars can only claim that up to about 10-15mph).

Thats right hapoo, McLaren used BMW v-12's I believe. They also made the car with Mercedes-Benz engines also. Not sure which ones were used more, but I believe the MB's were put into more cars, could be wrong though.

i think the mb one is a different model. all the F1's have BMW's. i actually found out it was a BMW engine when i first saw the model. I didn't know what car it was when i bought it and as i was opening all the little doors and hoods i noticed some really small writting on the engine. I looked closely and it read BMW.

Things I'd like to do:
1) window tints (the legal front tint all the way around, I can't stand cars with only rear tints and dark tints don't look great on this car in silver)
2) chrome tip exhaust and chrome tip front grille
3) new wheels (maybe, still can't decide. I really like the //M Contour wheels but dunno if they'd look good on it)

I'm actually not one for tricking out my car so I may end up just doing 1 & 2...

I've seen a lot of silver cars with full tint on them, reflective/non-reflective. I personally think it looks very nice. In fact the other day I just saw a 2000 323i with tint. Very smooth looking to me.
